Obtaining Drawings and Specifications: Plans are available for download from Myszak + Palmer (812.886.0350) in pdf format for a $20.00 non-refundable fee payable to Myszak + Palmer.
Prime contract bidders may obtain hard copies of the bidding documents from MACO Evansville Blue, 600 Court St, Evansville, Indiana (812.464.8108) for a non-refundable price of $100.00 for each complete set. A separate $20.00 check made payable to MACO Evansville Blue is required for shipping charges.
A Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 10:00 A.M. (Local Time) on Tuesday, June 11th, 2019 at the City of Brazil’s City Hall, 203 E. National Ave., Brazil, IN 47834. All prime contractors, subcontractors, small, minority or women owned enterprises and other interested parties are invited to attend.
Sealed bids must be received by the City of Brazil no later than 10:00 A.M. (Local Time) on Thursday, June 20th, 2019. Bids received after such hour will be returned unopened. Bids received prior to this time shall be opened and publicly read at the public meeting scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 20th, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the City of Brazil’s City Hall, 203 E. National Ave., Brazil, IN 47834. If sealed Bids are to be mailed or sent via Commercial Carrier, they shall be sent to the City of Brazil, Attention: Melissa Dorsett – Sealed Bid, 203 E. National Ave., Brazil, IN 47834. Sealed Bids mailed or delivered to the City of Brazil shall be delivered by 10:00 A.M., local time on Thursday, June 20th, 2019. All interested citizens are invited to attend and should any citizens require special provisions, such as handicapped modifications or non-English translation personnel, the City will provide such provisions as long as the request is made by 10:00 am Wednesday June 17th, 2019.
General Construction shall include, but not limited to: Façade Restoration consisting of selective demolition, interior and exterior carpentry, doors and frames, window restoration and replacement, storefront reconstruction, masonry restoration, painting, signage and limited electrical relocation per the Contract Documents.
