Ivy Tech Community College School of Health Sciences Update - Phase 1

A general description of the work for which proposals are to be received consists of:

THIS PROJECT INVOLVES INTERIOR REMODELING OF APPROXIMATELY FOUR THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SQUARE FEET OF CLASSROOM AND LAB SPACE TO DEVELOP NEW HEALTH SCIENCE CLASSROOMS AND LABS. WORK INCLUDES ARCHITECTURAL, MASONRY, HVAC, AND ELECTRICAL DEMOLITION; WALL CONSTRUCTION, CEILING, DOORS, CASEWORK, HVAC, PLUMBING, FIRE SUPRESSION, AND ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION. OWNER WILL SELF-PERFORM SOME WORK, AND FURNISH SOME MATERIAL TO CONTRACTOR FOR THEIR INSTALLATION AS NOTED THROUGHOUT PLANS. CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE WITH OWNER’S WORK. PROJECT SHALL BE SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLETE BY JULY 31, 2021.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. local time at the project site at 8000 South Education Drive, Terre Haute, Indiana 47802. Attendees should park near, and enter the building through, Door K. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting. A tour of the site will be held in conjunction with the pre-bid meeting.

Bids are due at 11:00 A.M. local time, Thursday, May 27th, 2021, at the Ivy Tech Community College, Business Office, Room E136, 8000 South Education Drive, Terre Haute, Indiana 47802.
